The Situation

Our client required personal service of legal documents on an individual known to be evasive.Previous attempts by others had failed, and it was clear the subject would do everything possible to avoid being served. With proceedings on hold until personal service could be achieved, time and strategy were critical.

Our Approach

We gathered intelligence about the individual’s patterns and behaviours, confirming their residence and activity levels at the property.A tailored approach was developed — visiting at a time when the subject was most likely home, reducing the opportunity to avoid engagement. On arrival, our agent made repeated lawful attempts to make contact, including voice appeals and door knocks. Despite clear signs of occupancy, there was no response. Then, in a moment that confirmed our instincts were correct, the agent noticed toes protruding from behind a wall — the subject was hiding.Recognising they had been seen, the individual emerged, and service was completed lawfully and without incident.

What we Found

The evasive individual had indeed been present and attempting to conceal themselves. Our persistence, situational awareness, and respectful communication ensured successful service while maintaining professionalism and safety throughout.

The Outcome

The client received immediate confirmation that personal service had been achieved, allowing their legal proceedings to move forward without delay. The matter was resolved efficiently, saving both time and cost while maintaining full compliance with service requirements.

When I launched my own venture, my guests told me I wasn’t charging enough for what I offered - I suspect the same might apply to you! I’m truly grateful for what you charged me, especially as keeping costs manageable at this stage makes a real difference. But honestly… I don’t think you’re charging enough.
